The fish kept us busy, the laughs were nonstop, and the scoreboard ended up looking pretty impressive by the end of the trip. The best part of guiding isn't always the fish. The bite is really good right now despite the heat. We’ve been non stop even when the brutual temperature even got to take my great friend Larry Rencken and we caught some big uns 💪 It’s a great time to take advantage of the 4 hour trip and be off water by 9am . Catching a lot of fish in the first 4 hours of daylight and the evening is producing for better than average quality fish. I’ve days available in August and Sept.

Another fantastic day on the water, and they're truly gorging themselves at the moment. Despite my dislike for the cold, the fishing is too good to pass up. If you're willing to brave the weather, you can assemble some impressive stringers right now. It's a bit of a gamble, but today is undoubtedly a feast. I landed most of the fish using an A-rig with Duckett Fishing's subtle tails – my go-to cold-water swimbait. Check out the Duckett Fishing website to grab yours.
